Verbal De-escalation (SO1181)

Purpose

The objective of this course is to provide basic instruction on how to successfully de-escalate an individual who is angry or upset and whose behaviour is becoming inappropriate for the workplace.

Who should take this course?

University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ employees who are managing people in some degree of crisis (E.g., anxious students, upset customers, people having a tough day).
