The Safety Office is pleased to introduce the University’s new Hearing Conservation Program, designed to help proactively identify and reduce risks associated with elevated workplace noise.
As part of this initiative, we’ve developed a new online noise awareness course that will be available on Learn at the end of August. The course will be mandatory for those working in environments with elevated noise levels. It will cover:
- What noise is and how it's measured
- The impact of noise on hearing and health
- Practical steps to minimize exposure
