Information Systems and Technology (IST) is providing M365 Data Storage and Platform Changes Information Sessions and IT Professional Development (ITPD) training for employees throughout the Spring term.
Two important changes will be made to your Microsoft 365 account beginning Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

A 90-day retention policy will be implemented for Teams Chat messages (i.e., all content under the Chat tab,Ìý). Posts to a Channel and other Teams data will not be impacted.
The new storage quotas will be implemented for students, alumni, retirees, and generic accounts beginning the week of June 23, 2025. Implementation dates for employees are planned for August 2025.
IST Green Office has joined the Sustainability Office today (April 22) in planting 150 native trees and shrubs, while learning more about the importance of supporting biodiversity and nature on campus and in our community.
IST is enabling sensitivity labels in the Microsoft 365 environment. These labels will be required for all files stored in OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as all emails sent using Outlook.
