What is happening? The contract for D2L Brightspace (LEARN), the University's current Learning Management System, will expire October 31, 2023. The approaching end of this LMS contract provides an opportune time to conduct a review of the LEARN environment to better understand how the system may or may not be meeting the needs and expectations of the campus community. 

What is happening? Earlier today IST communicated an issue with some users being unable to authenticate to eduroam.

This issue has been resolved, and IST is engaging the vendor to determine the cause.

MATLAB license renewal

What is happening? University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ has renewed our campus-wide license to MATLAB & Simulink. For continued access to MATLAB, you will need to update the license file by September 30, 2022.

What do I need to do?
To update the License File in MATLAB (internet connection required):
Go to Help > Licensing > Update Current Licenses

What is happening? Postdoctoral fellows will receive extended access to their University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ email address and other University systems, including Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Eduroam, for a period of 16 months after their employment with the University ends. After this 16-month period, former postdoctoral fellows will retain access to their University email account only.
