Congratulations聽to Prof. Ori Friedman, who has been named a recipient of the 2023 Arts Award for Excellence in Research. This award recognizes the quantity, quality, and impact of faculty members鈥 research programs as well as their leadership in the field. As noted in his nomination letter, Ori鈥檚 interdisciplinary perspective enriches his students鈥 training and fosters a culture of cross-area collaboration in the Department and cross-department collaboration in Faculty. 聽聽

2022-2023 CCDP TA Award Winners!

Congratulations to Michelle Korlacka, Amie Durston, and Sarah Towers who are the recipients of the 2022-2023 TA Award from the Council of Canadian Departments of Psychology! This award recognizes their dedication to providing exceptional learning experiences for undergraduate students through their TA鈥檚hips this past year.

Yesterday, Clinical psychology graduate students from the University of 蓝莓视频 Rebecca Trossman, Mahsa Sadeghi Janbahan, and Aleece Katan presented an engaging, informative, and interactive workshop on brain-based factors for health aging to a capacity crowd of 40 seniors at the Forest Height Public Library.聽 The presentation reviewed normative age-related changes in brain functioning, tips to promote brain health across the lifespan, and behavioral signs that additional assessment may be warranted.聽 Audience response was highly positive and lively, with many contributions,
