Government Bill To Regulate Vaping

Cabinet for the first time will regulate vaping under the Tobacco Act. A bill yesterday introduced in the Senate grants cabinet new powers to restrict advertising of electronic cigarettes, and the sale of vaping products to children.

Gordon Pennycook will receive the Alumni Gold Medal, which is given out for outstanding academic performance in a doctoral program.

Danielle Rice will receive the Arts Young Alumni Award.

Siobhan Sutherland will receive the Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies award at the Master's level.

The social and clinical psychology areas of the Department of Psychology have much to be proud of - and this week that includes the announcement of the prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships for 2016. Two PhD students are among the recipients.
