Hundreds recently came out to the annual Ride for Refuge event, in support of refugees as they build their lives in Canada. This event was in partnership with Reception House, a non-profit organization providing assistance to government-assisted refugees. Those who attended were in good company, as they joined thousands of participants across Canada who took part in similar initiatives to raise funds for the cause.

Alumni and friends recently teed-off in support of the 15^th annual United College golf tournament at Springfield Golf & Country Club, raising a record amount in support of the College’s outdoor amenities project.

Connie Roy brings joy to lives. An Ojibway woman from M’Chigeeng Ontario, and hairstylist of 17 years, she makes people feel good about themselves, giving them confidence while keeping them safe in the comforts of their own home.

United College has fostered a supportive community that significantly enhances the collegiate experience for members of the Women’s Basketball team at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Through a partnership initiated in 2017, the college has integrated athletics and residence life, creating a nurturing environment that promotes personal growth, leadership, and strong interpersonal connections among student-athletes. The community's involvement, from staff encouragement to peer support at games, exemplifies a shared commitment to student success and well-being.

Beginning end-of May, ground will break for the construction of new outdoor amenities on the United College green. This exciting project is expected to wrap up just in time to welcome students back to campus fall term.Ìý ÌýÌý

The Connections Program at United College, set to launch in September 2024, is designed to help incoming students transition into university life through a community-focused approach. Bringing together around 25 first-year students from various disciplines in a shared living and learning space, the program aims to foster strong social connections and a sense of belonging. This initiative reflects United College's commitment to supporting students' academic and personal growth by offering shared electives and group activities that encourage lifelong friendship.
