For David Kennedy (BMath ’02), vice-president and co-founder of the digital avatar company Bitmoji, the ways people represent themselves and identify online should be about empowerment and breaking free of constraints.  

Penelope Schankula (BCS in progress) is a builder.  

She may not have been aware of that when she took a co-op job at the cybersecurity company Arctic Wolf  in ݮƵ, but she is part of a new generation helping build the region’s cybersecurity cluster today.  

A team of three ݮƵ students have placed 17th at the 45th International Collegiate Programming Contest, the most prestigious and well-known algorithmic programming competition for university students, held this year in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Congratulations, fall 2022 graduates!

Six hundred and three students graduated from the University of ݮƵ’s Faculty of Mathematics on Friday, including 378 of undergraduates and 225 of graduate students.
