Accept your Offer
Follow the instructions on your Offer of Admission (available through the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ applicant portal). Most students will accept their offer through the website. If you have problems accepting your Offer of Admission, please call the OUAC at 519-823-1063.
Check conditions
Next, you need to log in to your applicant portal to review any conditions on your Offer of Admission and the timelines for meeting those.
International students
You likely need to request a Provincial Attestation letter to go along with your study permit application.

2. Reserve your place in residence
Deadline: June 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
First-year students
If you plan to live in an on-campus residence, you'll need to claim your WatIAm IDÌý²¹²Ô»å set up two-factor authentication before submitting your Residence Guarantee Application Form and non-refundable deposit. These are due by 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2026. If you miss the deadline, you won't be guaranteed a place in residence.
Transfer students
Apply by 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2026 to guarantee a spot in an upper-year residence.
Architecture students
We strongly advise that you live in Cambridge and not in a main campus residence. See "Student life in Cambridge" on the School of Architecture FAQ for details.

- submit your Residence Guarantee Application Form and deposit.

- UW Place (includes Claudette Millar Hall)
- Village 1
- Mackenzie King Village
- Columbia Lake Village
On-campus University Colleges
- Renison University College
- St. Jerome's University
- United College
Conrad Grebel University College is an on-campus residence that is not part of the residence guarantee. If you'd like to live there, you'll need to apply to Grebel before the end of May.
Scholarships and bursaries
When will I find out?
Beginning in early May, you'll be able to log in to the applicant portal and see any entrance scholarships and bursaries you've been awarded.
Information will be listed in the student awards tab for the program to which you've been admitted.
Do I need to do anything?
In most cases, when you accept your Offer of Admission, you’re automatically accepting your scholarship and/or bursary.
Be sure to read the bursary and/or scholarship information carefully for any conditions or requirements.
St. Jerome’s University
If you've received an offer of admission and scholarship from St. Jerome’s University (SJU), follow any specific instructions included in your Offer of Admission from SJU.
Change your mind about which university to attend?
If you've already accepted an offer of admission to an Ontario university, you may without penalty up to June 1, 2026.
Financial deposits for Ontario high school students
Unless you're an international student, if you're an Ontario high school student, no Ontario university can require a financial commitment from you before June 1.
