Two À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Engineering professors areÌýpanelists at this year’s RAPID Canada Conference taking place this weekÌýin Mississauga.

Pearl Sullivan, dean of engineering, and Ehsan Toyserkani, a mechanical and mechatronics engineering professor, are participating in the conference, an industry-leading forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments, trends and techniques specific to additive manufacturing, rapid technologies, and 3D printing.

Nafeesa Mahboob, an electrical and computer engineering doctoral canadiate, received the Basil Papadias Student Paper Award for the best student paper at the held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

The paper was co-authored by her two doctoral supervisors Claudio Canizares and Catherine Rosenberg, both electrical and computer engineering professors. The award was presented with a plaque and 1000 euros.
