A student at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Engineering has won a $1,000 scholarship through a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Sahil Kale, who is studying mechatronics engineering, is one of , and one of four winners across campus at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, recognized by the RCAF Foundation based on answers to questions about themselves, their plans for a career in aviation or aerospace, and how they hope to contribute to their communties.

Kale served as the technical director and pilot when the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Aerial Robotics Group (WARG), a 90-member student team, competed in a national competition for unmanned aerial vehicles in Manitoba last month.
The other À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ winners are Ruby Hopkins and Kyra Jarvis of the science and aviation program, and Kaden Lac, a geography and aviation student.Â
