Musselman, a mechanical and mechatronics engineering professor and a member of the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Institute for Nanotechnology, began a five-year term as a University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Endowed Chair in Nanotechnology on Nov. 1. He is one of three chairholders.
Dr. Kevin Musselman is an endowed chair of nanotechnology at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Musselman's research has helped to pioneer the application of spatial-atomic-layer-deposition thin films in a variety of applications, including photovoltaics, chemical sensors, LEDs, memristors, high-frequency diodes and antimicrobial coatings.
His work on spatial atomic layer deposition has been recognized with research excellence awards from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Institute for Nanotechnology and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation.
