À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ environmental engineering co-op student Eugenia Acosta is featured on the cover of New Technology magazine's January/February 2014 edition.  

She is holding the Clearpath Robotics Kingfisher Unmanned Surface Vessel outside a mine in Northern Ontario.

The magazine's feature story by Carter Haydu explores the growing importance of remote controlled data collection.  

According to Blyth Gill, Kingfisher's commercialization manager at Clearpath Robotics, by summer 2014 the unmanned surface vessel will provide topographic information of the bottom of tailings ponds in Northern Alberta.
