À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ management engineering studentsÌýplaced in three of the four competitions at this year's Student Conference held at Ryerson University in January.

Third place in theÌýConsulting Case Study Competition was awarded to

students Scott Walton, Kamal Aman, Jared Evans and Kiran Turna.ÌýThis year the study involved streamlining patient flow and waiting times in the Toronto East General Hospital emergency department, green zone.

In theÌýTechnical Paper CompetitionÌýsecond place honours went toÌýstudent Nikita Ajit Kumar for her paper on improving inventory control for food service promotions. Kait Parks, Ariana Rodriguez, Aby Ali Mahmoud and Zahra Bodla were awarded third place in the Theoretical Competition that involved participants writing a general examination that challenges them to apply their academic skills and knowledge.
