Dr. Mark Hancock is the new interim chair of the Department of Management Science and Engineering at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Hancock, a management sciences professor since 2010, took over from previous department chair Dr. Qi-Ming He on Sept. 1.

Hancock’s research involves designing, developing and evaluating technology that can support new ways of interacting with computers and information.
He will serve as interim chair for an eight-month term. The search for a permanent replacement is under way.
