Engineering moves up in QS world subject rankings

À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Engineering made a big move in released by global education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The faculty was rated 37th in the broad category of engineering and technology, up from 49th spot last year, based on academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations and research impact in a field of more than 1,500 universities.

In specific subject areas rated by the influential United Kingdom organization, electrical engineering at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ climbed to 29th, up from 33rd in 2022, while mechanical engineering and chemical engineering both maintained spots in the top 100.

Civil engineering also held its position in the 51 to 100 range. Architecture was again ranked between 101 and 150.

Other engineering disciplines at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ weren’t among the 54 subjects ranked by QS along with five broad subject areas.
