A graduate student at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Engineering topped more than 30 other presenters to take first place among young professionals at a recent conference in Japan.
Laurent Gerin, who is doing a master’s degree in civil engineering, came home with the hardware after presenting a paper at the at the University of Tokyo.
Gerin, who also earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, focuses in his research on the use of aluminum in bridges and buildings.
