Mahsa Shayan,Ìýa civilÌýengineering doctoral candidate, was presented withÌýthe by the Real Property Institute of CanadaÌýon April 16 at the Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop in Ottawa. The scholarship in environmental studies is given to aÌýuniversity graduate-level student undertaking research in environmental issues related to contaminated sites.
Shayan is supervised byÌýNeil Thomson, chair of civil and environmental engineering, and Jim Barker of earth and environmental sciences.Ìý
