Graduate funding and awards database: Affiliation: Refugee or protected person
Funding is available each year to support undergraduate and graduate refugee students who are sponsored by the World University Service of Canada at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ (WUSC) or any other students who are recognized by the Canadian government as being refugees or protected persons.
Limited funding is available for this bursary program which is intended to support students whose education has been impacted by conflict, war, changing political environments or natural disasters (e.g., a natural event such as a flood, earthquake, or hurricane that causes great damage or loss of life).
The Ministry of Colleges and Universities has allocated funding to eligible postsecondary institutions in support of scholarships for high-achieving students with financial need enrolled in programs related to the video-gaming industry that may lead to a career in the video-gaming or esports fields.Â
