What is happening? The Evolving the EdTech Ecosystem project team is excited to announce the launch of the Educational Technology (EdTech) Hub, a new website that pulls together information on À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s centrally supported EdTech tools: digital technology tools used to deliver and facilitate learning, learning activities, and aid in the creation and dissemination of content.
CTE is pleased to announce the hiring of three new Educational Developers in Indigenous Knowledges and Anti-Racist Pedagogies. Details about these new staff members and their respective roles will be forthcoming in September.Â
Welcome to our new graduate-student staff: TA Workshop Facilitators (TAWFs)ÌýÌýCarina Felice (Biology) and Keqi Shu (Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering). TAWFs support our graduate student programming by facilitating interdisciplinary and discipline-specific teaching workshops.
We'd like to thank and say goodbye to two TAWFs who have worked at CTE for the past several terms and contributed greatly to the Fundamentals of University Teaching program: Blessing Medon (Civil and Environmental Engineering) and Angeline Ram (Geography & Environmental Management).
Congratulations to the latest recipients of the LITE Seed grants! 28 University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ faculty and staff received funding for six grants, ranging from Placed-Based Learning to Pedagogies for the Anthropocene!Â
An article on Extended Reality (XR) technologies in higher education has just been published by staff from three different À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ units. The Certificate in University Teaching (CUT) program provides a comprehensive teacher development experience that is open to PhD students at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.

CTE Faculty Liaison - Faculty of Health (13 month term)
A CTE Faculty Liaison provides expert advice to instructors, primarily in their Faculty, regarding teaching strategies, learning activities, course design, assessment methods, instructional innovations and the integration of appropriate and effective learning technologies into face-to-face and blended learning course designs. This role works in conjunction with various colleagues in their associated departments, Faculties, and/or university support units as well as colleagues at CTE, primarily the other Liaisons and CTE Senior Educational Developers. Educational Developer, Anti-racist Pedagogies (full-time, permanent)
The Centre for Teaching Excellence aims to foster teaching excellence, innovation, and inquiry by supporting instructor development, promoting a community around teaching, and nurturing a culture of teaching and learning at À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. The primary purpose of the Educational Developer, Anti-Racist and Culturally Relevant Pedagogies, is to support faculty, graduate student, and postdoctoral fellows seeking to teach and supervise more inclusively. As part of Indigenous Knowledges/Anti Racism team the within CTE, the position will interact with our programming teams and curriculum team as well as with staff from the Indigenous Relations and Equity Offices. More details about this opportunity are available on the ²õ¾±³Ù±ð.Ìý
