This workshop is a Question & Answer (Q&A) session focusing on the effective use of LEARN for TAs.

Documenting your teaching in a dossier involves harmonizing claims, narrative descriptions of practice, and evidence.  This process can be guided by preparing your own teaching philosophy statement, which is a kind of thesis for the argument you wish to make about yourself, as a teacher. 

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the need to address multiple institutional priorities in your courses, such as mental wellbeing, Indigenization, and accessibility?

This series aims to provide a supportive community for instructors, offering a space for discussion and sharing of best practices. By learning from peers and building connections, we hope to make the task of juggling institutional priorities more manageable and less overwhelming. We envision holding these sessions once a term for the next year.

The Integrated Accessibility Retreat is a one-day retreat where you’ll learn how to incorporate accessible education practices into your course.

New Faculty Teaching Days will take place from Tuesday, August 12, 2025 to Thursday, August 14, 2025.

This two-hour ¾±²Ô-±è±ð°ù²õ´Ç²ÔÌýsession will introduce you to LEARN (D2L Brightspace), uÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's learning management system for presenting course activities and resources in on-campus and blended courses.
