Beginning on March 14, when booking your appointment with us, you have the option to choose an in-person or a virtual appointment with most advisors. Although the title might sound intimidating, Dissertation Boot Camps – as they are known at university campuses across North America – are meant to be friendly, supportive programs that offer graduate students the time and space they need to work on their theses or dissertations. These programs were developed to help writers get on with the daunting task of writing and make real progress towards finishing a graduate degree.
2022 GRADflix support
Did you know that the WCC offers support for GRADflix participants? Our Multimodal and Public Scholarship Program Developer, Elise Vist, works with participants in one-to-one appointments to support them in developing impactful videos that showcase their research. This year Elise had the pleasure of working with both the People’s Choice award winner, Maria Bernadette Bataglia, and 4th place winner, Mariam Gad on their award-winning videos.
Collaboration with the new Journal of Undergraduate Health Research!
We're so impressed with the brand-new student-run  (JUHR) here at UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, which was founded by two undergraduates. The journal aims to give peer-reviewed publication opportunities to undergraduates in any health-related field. We're thrilled to be able to support JUHR by providing workshops for both the editorial team and for student authors.
