This mini-hackathon is open to girls and gender-diverse individuals aged 11Ìý– 18 interested in tech entrepreneurship.ÌýDuring this day-long event, participants will form teams, identify a problem related to the UN SDGs, design a tech-based solution, and pitch their idea to a panel of judges.

Tentative Event Schedule

Morning:

• Opening Presentation
• Create your Teams
• Identify the Problems your Team wants to tackle
• Create a list of Possible Solutions & a Mission Statement

Afternoon (after a Lunch Break):Ìý

• Create a Paper Prototype
• Learn how to pitch your ideas
• Create a digital prototype
• Refine your prototype, practice your pitch, and get ready to present

Evening (Guests are invited to join):

• PITCH your project to a panel of judges (Parents are invited to attend pitches)
• DINNER
• Award Announcement & Closing
