The final in-person working session brought teams closer to the finish line

On Saturday, April 26th, Technovation À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ held its final in-person working session of the season at Google from 10 AM to 3 PM. With the May 5th submission deadline fast approaching, this session was a crucial opportunity for participants to focus and make major progress on their projects.

The day began with a presentation by Rae Samuel, Volunteer Engagement Manager at Technovation Global. Rae spoke about the submission process, encouraging teams to upload completed components as they go rather than waiting until the final day. This advice helped teams better plan their remaining time and avoid last-minute stress.

Following the presentation, teams spent the rest of the day working on different parts of their projects. Some teams focused on finalizing their code or on gathering more user feedback, while others worked on writing their business or user adoption plans. The majority of teams spent their time recording and editing their pitch and technical videos, which is a major part of their final submission. Overall, everyone worked hard and made excellent progress.

Throughout the session, mentors and coaches were available to support the teams. They answered questions, gave feedback, and helped guide teams through any challenges they were facing. Their support made a big difference as teams approached the final stages of their work.

With just over a week left before the submission deadline, this session was a valuable time for teams to make progress, get feedback, and prepare for a strong finish.

A big thank you to Google for hosting this event! It would not have been possible without all your help!
