Volunteer with WiCS at the Technovation Girls Mini-Hackathon! Ìý

Join us in supporting young girls and gender-diverse individuals (ages 11-18) as they explore tech entrepreneurship and develop solutions for global challenges! Ìý

Volunteers will help with event setup, guide teams, and assist participants through the challenge. No experience is required—just a passion for inspiring the next generation of innovators! Ìý

Volunteer Opportunities:Ìý

Below you will find a list of the volunteer roles and shifts we are looking to fill (note we will need multiple volunteers for each role/shift). Ìý

Program Volunteer: Volunteers who work directly with students to help them with their projects, and the activities.Ìý

  • Shift 1: 8:30 am – 1:00 pmÌý

  • Shift 2: 12:30 pm – 5:00 pmÌý

Logistics Volunteer: Volunteers who help with the organizational/background tasks (e.g., set-up, registration, clean-up, etc.) may also help guide participants in the activities.Ìý

  • Shift 1: 8:00 am – 1:30 pmÌý

  • Shift 2: 1:30 pm – 7:30 pmÌý

WiCS Study Room  Ìý

Important Update: Although the bridge between MC and DC is closing, the WiCS Study Room will remain open throughout the term! It's a quiet and welcoming spot for focused study—come by and take advantage of this peaceful space!  Ìý

Fob Access (Fall 2024): To gain access to the study room for the Fall 2024 term, please complete the fob request form linked below. The WiCS Event Coordinator will inform you via email when your fob is ready for pickup. Ìý
