The Okanagan Charter - An International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges
The Okanagan Charter outlines the language, principles, and framework that post-secondary institutions should be utilizing in order to work towards becoming a campus that promotes health and wellbeing in all aspects of life to all individuals. From this goal, the Okanagan Charter’s two Calls to Action are as follows:
To embed health into all aspects of campus culture, across administration, operations, and academic mandates.
To lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.
The University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ affirms its adoption of the Okanagan Charter as a collaborative framework to promote the health and wellness of our students and the broader campus community.
