Permit Swapping
University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ employees on the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ campus with active parking have the opportunity to switch parking lots with another employee looking to change lots as well.
Permit Swapping Eligibility
Both parties must have paid permit parking at the time of the swap. In the event that the employee you have swapped lots with has discontinued their parking permit within 6 months after the swap has occurred, the parking department will return you to your original lot. This is to secure employees who are currently on a waitlist.
You are NOT eligible for swapping if either party is:
- Retiring
- Maternity Leave
- Long-term/short-term disability
- Sick leave
- Unpaid leave
- Summer Suspension
- Does not currently have an active parking permit
You will be required to sign a form agreeing to the above conditions before the swap will be finalized.Â
How to Swap
Review the database and connect with the individual you are interested in switching lots with. Arrange a time you can both come into the Sustainable Transportation Office together. Bring your employee ID and your current permit. The team will then complete the swap for you.Â
The transfer of permits must be facilitated by Sustainable Transportation in order to deter from ticketing and/or towing.Â
