The School of Pharmacy held its first Business Awards Ceremony on April 5. Presented at the ceremony were the Scotiabank Pharmacy Entrepreneurship Award and the Pharmasave Industrial Case Study Competition Award.
Congratulations to Rx2013 students Annick Nguyen and Gabriela Krnac who were the winners of the 2011 Student Video competition at the Commitment to Care and Service Awards in Toronto last night. Their entertaining video on the Future of Pharmacy was well-received by the audience at the awards ceremony where pharmacists from across Canada gathered to celebrate notable achievements.Â
The first class in the School of Pharmacy at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ officially graduated on Saturday, October 22.  The School hosted a pre-convocation reception on Friday, October 21 that was attended by more than 200 graduates, family members, faculty, staff and supporters of the program.Â
Fourth-year student and former À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Society of Pharmacy Students president Jennifer Mackenzie received the 2016 Ontario Pharmacist Association’s (OPA) Student of Distinction Award for her leadership ability and commitment to advancing the profession.
