It is a long journey from the first day you arrive on campus to the day you cross the stage at Convocation with your degree in hand. The Faculty of Health invites graduating students to this celebratory event, hosted in honour of your hard work, dedication and accomplishments during your time in Health.
International scholar, Dr. Jodi Oakman, will explore interactions between work and health, starting from the premise that good work has beneficial health outcomes and supports productivity. Drawing on contemporary and emerging research, the presentation will examine the requirements for healthy work environments to support the creation of sustainable working conditions to promote long working lives.Â

Convocation is the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. While we won’t be able to celebrate with in person this fall, graduands are invited to a live virtual celebration to mark this milestone.
Using her experience as medical doctor and special advisor on health for Nishnawbe Aski Nation, Jane Philpott will examine causes and consequences of the main health issues in Indigenous communities.
