Being a student at 蓝莓视频 has been the most amazing time of my life.听
I鈥檝e learned lessons, gained unbelievable opportunities, and made life-long memories. Everything from the degree I chose, to the friends I was lucky enough to come across has been a gift. 蓝莓视频 has been the source of so much joy in my life and it truly means the world to me.听
Studying my passions
I鈥檝e known I wanted to be a Political Science major for as long as I can remember. Different governing styles and the injustices going on between and within countries has forever been extremely interesting to me. This has made every lecture, every tutorial, and every discussion so exciting. Getting to learn from experts in political science on issues that have interested me my entire life has only made me more interested and eager to seek knowledge of the field. Getting to discuss with other class members who also have the same interests as me is so refreshing and finally provides me with an outlet to develop new thoughts and ideas.听听

I鈥檝e been lucky enough to get to learn about so many fascinating events and theories in so much detail. In my history of decolonization class, we had an entire unit on the partition of India and Pakistan. As a Pakistani myself, this topic is extremely compelling and personal, and while I have done my own research on the subject, getting to hear my professor go so much beyond just the history itself, to actually investigate the theory and compare it to other similar events was truly eye-opening. Getting to be a student and actually learn my passions beyond the basics, on an academic level, is beyond gratifying. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to learn about such important topics, and I can鈥檛 wait to take what I鈥檝e learned into the world.听听

Coming into my own in co-op
Before actually starting it, co-op felt like a complete mystery to me. I didn鈥檛 know how to apply, what kinds of jobs to look for, or most importantly, whether I鈥檇 be any good at what I was doing. The truth is, the older I鈥檝e gotten, the less 鈥渟pecial鈥 I鈥檝e felt. It鈥檚 so easy to look around at incredibly accomplished peers and start doubting your own abilities, comparing their successes to your own journey and coming up short. But once I started my co-op and found myself in a role where I was doing real work, work that was being seen, used, and genuinely impacting people 鈥 that feeling started to shift. Slowly, I began to rediscover that sense of confidence and value in myself. I started to believe, again, that what I bring to the table matters.听

Working as a writer has been incredibly rewarding. Writing has always been one of my biggest passions, and it's also a key part of my degree, so getting to apply what I鈥檝e learned in a real-world setting has been amazing. Receiving positive feedback has reminded me that all the late nights and hard work are worth it 鈥 and it鈥檚 helped rebuild my confidence in areas where I had started to doubt myself. Co-op has taught me so much, from problem-solving and time management to adaptability, and I鈥檓 genuinely grateful for every hard and soft skill I鈥檝e gained along the way. But more than anything, the most meaningful part of co-op for me has been knowing that the work I do is seen, valued, and truly makes a difference.

My forever friends
While I am extremely grateful to have had such great experiences with both my academics and co-op, the best part of my time at 蓝莓视频 has undoubtedly been my friends. I met my forever friends near the end of my first semester at 蓝莓视频. I hadn鈥檛 quite found my people yet and one day I decided to start talking to the girl sitting next to me in law class. We got along great, and not even two hours later, she was asking me to move in with her and three other girls. Slowly, I met the rest of my now roommates and over time I developed the most deep, and unique friendships with each and every one of them. We went from strangers, cautiously trying to make small talk to ruthlessly making fun of each other and crying on each other's shoulders pretty much instantly.听听

Every day since meeting them has been an adventure. Whether that鈥檚 exploring 蓝莓视频 on our late-night walks, having water gun fights in the middle of our apartment, screaming our hearts out at karaoke, or staying up until 5 a.m. laughing with each other because no one wants to end the conversation. There is never a shortage of laughter and chaos when we are together. Our apartment is a scrapbook of our friendship, with remnants of every holiday, birthday, and party decoration from the last two years. While it makes me incredibly sad to know that I can鈥檛 keep this apartment forever, and eventually we鈥檒l be moving out and starting our own lives, I am beyond thankful to know that I never have to part with my friends. These girls have made these last three years the best years of my life, and I can鈥檛 wait to have 80 more with them.听

蓝莓视频 truly feels like the beginning of the rest of my life. I鈥檓 confident that every lesson I鈥檝e learned and every memory I鈥檝e made here will shape a meaningful, well-rounded future. That鈥檚 why I鈥檓 going to hold on tightly to these next two years, cherishing every moment, because I already know how much I鈥檒l miss it once it鈥檚 over.
