Mike McCauley, co-founder of Buffer Box, has been named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greater Kitchener À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Chamber of Commerce. He was honoured at the chamber's Business Excellence Awards dinner held February 20 in Kitchener.

McCauley, Aditya Bali and Jay Shah started BufferBox as a mechatronics engineering Capstone Design project after McCauley came home one day to find that he had missed a parcel because he couldn’t be around when it was delivered.
The award-winning company that allows people to pick up parcels from secure kiosks 24/7 was acquired by Google in 2012.
