Fast Feedback Day

An open forum where teams present their ideas for fast feedback from a panel of experts. You can have your idea/company vetted by investors, industry subject matter experts and faculty experts.  

What are the practical uses of artificial intelligence and how can it give the Canadian economy the push it needs without relying on the giant tech companies?

Graduating Students
Engineering Alumni Affairs cordially invites all engineering students graduating in 2017 to the Dean's toast to the Class of 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The champagne toast will be at 6:00 p.m.

Find out how your team can go from idea to funding in this "how to" session. Lyon Wong, Spectrum 28, outlines the steps to getting funded. Select teams are interviewed and funding readiness issues examined. It's two hours of "hands-on, how-to" knowledge involving real startups who are looking for funding.  Guest entrepreneur José Daire shares his insight on the importance of relationships in getting funded.

Who should attend: Undergraduates, Graduate students, faculty or staff who are interested in the steps to obtain seed funding. 

On June 15, you're invited to a special evening to launch a year of celebration marking the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ School of Architecture. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Architecture was created in 1967, Canada’s Centennial year, in anticipation of continued growth and increased demand for design.

Pearl Sullivan, dean of engineering, the Registrar's Office, Engineering Alumni Affairs and the Office of Alumni Relations are pleased to invite you and your guests to an informal complimentary post-convocation reception.

Join us at the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Centre in the Great Hall to celebrate your milestone achievement! The receptions start right after each convocation ceremony.

The tradition continues on July 14, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to celebrate Engineering Day with our incredible community of students, alumni, professors and staff. This year's activities will include a colour throw (wear a white t-shirt!), BBQ featuring the famous 'Boggan Burgers, free treats and refreshments, a photo booth, purpling, The Tool and The Tool Bearers, and so much more!
