ECE PhD graduate Carlos Moreno and Professors Sebastian Fischmeister and M. Anwar Hasan received the best paper award at the 2013 Languages, Compilers and Tools for Embedded Systems () conference in Seattle, Washington in June. The paper was entitled "Non-Intrusive Program Tracing and Debugging of Deployed Embedded Systems Through Side-Channel Analysis".
