Kimon Fountoulakis is an Associate Professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science and a member of the Scientific Computation Group.
Previously, Kimon was a postdoctoral fellow and Principal Investigator at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Statistics and ICSI. He worked with Michael Mahoney. Before that, he completed a PhD in optimization at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Professor Jacek Gondzio.
Kimon works on machine learning and artificial intelligence models for reasoning and graph-structured data.
