Jun Liu received the B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from ShanghaiÌýJiao-Tong University, the M.S. degree in Mathematics fromÌýPeking University, and the Ph.D. degree in Applied MathematicsÌýfrom the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ. He is a in Hybrid Systems and Control andÌýan Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ,Ìýwhere he directs the Hybrid Systems Laboratory. Prior to joining the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ, he was a Lecturer in Control and Systems Engineering at theÌýUniversity of Sheffield and aÌýPostdoctoralÌýScholar in Control and Dynamical Systems at the California InstituteÌýof Technology. His main research interests are in the theory andÌýapplications of hybrid systems and control, including rigorous and efficientÌýcomputational methods for control design with applications in robotics and cyber-physical systems.
