      1. Accept your offer

        Once you have received your offer of admission, review and accept before the deadline. 

        June 2nd, 2025, is the last day to accept your offer for Fall (September) 2025 admission.

      1. Satisfy Conditions of Admission

        ³Û´Ç³Ü°ùÌýconditions of admission must be satisfied before you can be matriculated (activate you in your program).

        Once you have satisfied your conditions of admission, you will be matriculated approximately six weeks before the start of term.

      3. Fall 2025 Course Selection Begins

        The course selection period runs from Wednesday, July 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 23, 2025. 

        During the course selection period, you are able to enrol in courses for the upcoming term in Quest.

    3. Aug
      1. Tuition and fees due

        You need to be 'fees arranged' for your Fall 2025 tuition fees by August 19th, 2025. Late fees will begin on August 20th, 2025 which could result in 'Holds' on your students account. If you have questions about your tuition fees than contact the Student Centre at askthecentre@uwaterloo.ca.

        Because MDSAI tuition is per course, your fees statement will appear in Quest only after you have enrolled in your Fall courses​

      1. Data Science New Student Orientation

        Data Science New Student Orientation will take place on September 2, 2025

      2. First day of classes!

        Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, is the first day of class for Fall 2025.
