Professor Ralph Haas recipient of WCPAM Award
Prof. Ralph Haas has been awarded the World Conference on Pavement and Asset Management (WCPAM) Award for 2017, at the conference held recently in Italy.
He was recognized for his pioneering research and development of innovative technologies for managing road networks, his contribution in the fields of pavement engineering, and his sustained excellence in education as Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Civil Engineering department at the University of ݮƵ.
CEGES wins best Student Chapter
We are very proud to announce that the Civil, Environmental and Geological Engineering Society (CEGES) UW Chapter, has been named the President’s Best Student Chapter!
After a thorough review of annual reports from 26 student chapters by the Student Affairs committee, CEGES was awarded the top position amidst very keen competition.
The committee travelled to the CSCE Conference in Vancouver, to accept the award in person, and share their experiences with other chapter leaders.
