All UW students and employees must complete mandatory health and safety training. Several important requirements are summarized below. Additional information is provided by theÌýSafety Office.

MEng Students
MEng students in CEE must complete the following training within the first 4 weeks of their first term of enrolment:Ìý
Students must provide verification that this training has been completed as indicated by the department each term. To do so, students must email cee.assist@uwaterloo.ca screen shots that their health and safety has been completed.ÌýÌý
Where training is incomplete, students will be restricted from participating in certain activities (e.g. lab sessions).
MASc and PhD Students
MASc and PhD in CEE must complete the following training within the first 4 weeks of their first term of enrolment:Ìý

Read the departments laboratory manual(s) for the labs you will be working inÌýÌý
Students must provide verification that this training has been completed as indicated by the department each term. To do so, students must email cee.assist@uwaterloo.ca screen shots that their health and safety has been completed.ÌýÌý
Students will not be permitted in labs until and will not be allowed office space until their health and safety training is complete.Ìý
