Capstone goes online in Spring 2020! Prof. Adil Al-Mayah and Prof. Nadine Ibrahim are teaching the Fourth Year Civil Engineering Design Project - Phase 1 (CIVE 400) this term, and wanted to thank all faculty who are serving as technical advisors. There are 32 teams in total, all of whom have found technical advisors to support and offer guidance to聽their design projects. A number of groups are working on modular construction of hospitals and clinics - motivated by the present situation! Here's a photo collage of some of the groups in the first meeting on Teams. All smiles so far!
Water Environment Association of Ontario (WEAO) has collaborated with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks to use the (SDC) to promote emerging topics within the water industry such as resource recovery and sustainable infrastructure.聽The topic of the 2019-20 WEAO Student Design Competition was stormwater management at Mill Pond Park in the Town of Richmond Hill.
