While postsecondary education provides great opportunities, affordability can be a challenge for many students. Studies have shown that UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ students who live on campus achieve higher first-year grade point averages and rates of retention and graduation than their off-campus peersÌý(Academica Group, 2016). Students also want to live in residence to meet friends and create a strong community for themselves. For these reasons, we are committed to ensuring that students who want to live on campus can do so.Ìý

2)ÌýFunding sources for graduate studentsÌý

3)ÌýCompare our residence buildings and consider our most economical housing options:Ìý

  • For traditional-style residences where the purchase of a meal plan is required, Village 1 and Ron Eydt Village double rooms are the most affordable options.ÌýÌý
  • For suite-style residences where meal plans are optional, UW Place double rooms and Columbia Lake Village South single rooms are the most affordable options. Ìý

4) Apply to part-time student jobs with 2025 À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ or roles withinÌýCampus HousingÌýthat provide an hourly wage or other remuneration such as room and board for student Dons.ÌýÌý
