Honours Arts and Honours Arts and Business students should declare their major before the end of their 1B term. Your Declare your Major form will be processed once your final grades are posted at the end of the term.
Complete these steps to declare your major
STEP 1: Attend/watch the virtual Declare Your Major Information Session
The information session will be held on March 4th at 2:30pm (EST)and covers the process for declaring your major, the timelines, future course selection, and more. This is a virtual event.
STEP 2: Attend Major/Minor Information Sessions

Attend sessions for majors and minors that interest you to get more information.
- These sessions will be held throughout the month of March.
- See the full schedule of department information sessions and drop-in hours.
STEP 3: Connect with a Co-op advisor to ask questions!
Considering your co-op and career options and want to discuss your situation with an advisor? Book a career advising appointment with the Centre for Career Development:
- using your WATIAM credentials
- SelectAppointmentsfrom the navigation menu
- Select the type of appointment module you would like to book: Undergraduate student career advising
STEP 4: Complete theDeclare your Major Online Formby the deadline.
- The Declare your Major form is now closed for 2025. Please contact the Arts Undergraduate Office if you have questions.

STEP 5: Add your Fall 2025 classes May 22nd to June 2nd, 2025.
