First-year Social Development Studies (SDS) course requirements
All of our courses are four months in length. You'll normally take five courses in your fall term andÌýfive courses in your winter term.Ìý
Co-op
First year courses are the same for students that are in the co-op program and for those that are not. Co-op work terms will start in your 2nd year.
If you are not in co-op but would like to join the co-op program, please contact your First year advisor.

ATTEND the First Year course selection live event on June 24th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm(EST) to learn more about how to course select, important information and ask questions! Link to be provided closer to event.

- Discover elective courses available to you as a first-yearÌýArts student.
- NumerousÌýminors and diplomasÌýare available. You may want take a course towards a prospective minor or diploma as a first year elective.
- Note that most Arts courses are held in person.

SUBMITÌýyour Course Selections in Quest.

- Login to Quest and your 2 elective courses. We will add PSYCH 101, SOC 101 and SOCWK 120RÌýfor you.

VIEWÌýyour fall class schedule inÌýQuest.
Don't see all of the classes you requested?ÌýYou can make changes to your schedule starting on July 24th at 9 am (EST).
View your Appointment time in Quest: You will have an appointment time in Quest on either July 24th or 25th. This is when you get access to make changes to your fall schedule. Once you have access you will continue to have access until the final ADD deadline on September 17th.
