One or two awards, valued at up to $3,500, are available annually to students entering first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ from a secondary school in the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have lived in the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ for at least 10 years, have a minimum admission average of 80%, and demonstrated financial need. Financial need will be assessed through the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Entrance Bursary program. Preference will be given to students who have participated in extracurricular activities in the school and community. This fund was established by the Deer Ridge Charitable Foundation to reflect its concern for the youth of the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Note: If you, your parents, or your spouse are members of the Deer Ridge Golf Club, you are not eligible for this award.
