A chance for outdoor fun and networking before final exams for our talented Systems Design (SYDE), Biomedical (BME), and Mechatronics (MTE) Engineering students at UÀ¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. The SYDE/BME Readiness Assessment is a diagnostic test. The questions on the assessment cover fundamental background for the courses that students will take in their first term. It is not for credit – rather, a tool to help identify areas where students need support. The assessment can be done from a personal computer with an internet connection.Â
Student Awards Luncheon - Dean's Honor List Winners
The graduates of the Class of 1977 Systems Design Engineering have established an annual award to recognize a student entering the fourth year of Systems Design Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. A combination of talents, interests and accomplishment describe the 54 unique individuals who survived the many trials and triumphs of the Systems Design Engineering Class of 1977, so the award recognizes students who have demonstrated accomplishment and creativity in (but not limited to) sports, politics, academics, work terms, philanthropy, business, the arts, and community service.
Nothing quite gets an engineer going like a thorough quantitative analysis of an insight-filled dataset. This was the opportunity I had in capturing the experience of my graduating class — the Systems Design Engineering (SYDE) Class of 2018.
