During the Week of October 16th – October 20th, the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ partnered with the Sustainability Office and participated in its first ever Zero Waste Week as part of the national Waste Reduction Week campaign.
On Wednesday, June 21st the Sustainability Office hosted Bike Day in the Arts Quad to celebrate those who cycleÌýto campus and promote sustainable transportation modes.

On April 18th, the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and the Kitchener Public Library, in association with Power Shift À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region, hosted its Public Lecture: Transforming Energy in À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region. There were over 140 people who filled up the auditorium to hear what the future holds for sustainability and energy in the Region.
