Centre for Career Development (CCD) is helping students navigate career paths that align with the United Nations . From sustainable business and environmental careers to social entrepreneurship and ethical industries, the CCD is providing students with the resources they need to build meaningful and impactful careers.

On April 18^th, the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and the Kitchener Public Library, in association with Power Shift À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region, hosted its Public Lecture: Transforming Energy in À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region. There were over 140 people who filled up the auditorium to hear what the future holds for sustainability and energy in the Region.

On March 23, 2017 President FeridunÌýHamdullahpur approved Policy 53 - Environmental Sustainability, creating the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's first sustainability policy.

What do Brexit, community gardens, and climate change have in common?Ìý Attendees at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s third annual Eco-Summit learned about the global, local, and University networks that are building a sustainable future, as well as the tensions within and between those networks.

The David Johnston Research + Technology Park (R+T Park) University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and its tenants have committed to a Greenhouse Gas Reduction Target through Sustainable À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region’s Regional Carbon Initiative (RCI).
