With a large population travelling to and from campus every day, enabling a variety of transportation options is critical for reducing environmental impacts and creating an inclusive and sustainable campus community. Over the past few months, the campus has seen some exciting developments related to public transit and cycling.

We will be joined by Kevan Marshall, Principal Planner, Transportation and Demand Management, from the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ to share information and updates on:Ìý

  • ION launch and GRT service improvements
  • UW station featuresÌý
  • Cycling updates, including the regional bikeshare program and infrastructure improvementsÌý
  • TravelWise program and corporate transit passes

Following the presentation, attendees are invited to join us for a walk to the ION platform by the Davis Centre (DC) for a demonstration.

About the Presenter

Kevan Marshall, Principal Planner, Transportation and Demand Management, Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ
Kevan Marshall is a Principal Planner with the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s Transportation Demand Management Program in Transit Services. His duties include coordinating transit integration with other sustainable transportation options, reviewing development applications and road reconstruction projects, administering the TravelWise program, and hosting the occasional staff bike ride.
