À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ researchers awarded New Frontiers in Research funding

Six University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ researchers were awarded funding through the Government of Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund.

The funding was part of a of $45-million by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health.

À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ recipients of funding through the 2021 Exploration competition are:

Hybrid-powered Portable Solid-State Lighting ($250,000)

Will Percival

Professor, Physics and Astronomy

Being confident in the discovery of new physics from cosmological observations ($250,000)
