Professor of Applied Mathematics awarded $1.65 million for CREATE program

Marek Stastna, professor in Applied Mathematics at the University of ݮƵ has been awarded $1.65 million in funding for his program titled “Training for Novel Directions in Quantitative Climate Science.”

This funding was part of a  today totalling $26 million through its Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program for 2024. The funding supports training and mentoring programs to improve job readiness for highly qualified students and postdoctoral fellows.
