The University of 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Research Data Management (RDM) strategy was published at the end of February 2023.
The launch of the comprehensive strategy followed two years of research, feedback, extensive consultations, and a Town Hall in November, 2022 with over 100 attendees. Plans are now underway to implement the strategy across the University supported by a cross-university working group, including the Faculties and Academic Support Units to move it forward.
鈥淲e will continue to engage the campus community as we work to achieve our vision of research excellence facilitated through RDM and meet the diverse needs of 蓝莓视频 researchers,鈥 said Ian Milligan, Associate Vice-President, Research Oversight and Analysis, University of 蓝莓视频 and one of the co-chairs of the project alongside Alison Hitchens, Associate University Librarian, Collections, Technology, Scholarly Communication.
The strategy, supported by funding from the聽Government of Canada鈥檚 Incremental (IPG) Project Grant, is overseen by the Vice-President, Research & International, the University Librarian and Chief Information Officer. It is a living document, intended to shape 蓝莓视频鈥檚 activities over the next three to five years, but the implementation roadmap will change as priorities emerge. The strategy will be reviewed regularly and updated for relevance.
